Michie Hayashida, 92, of Hilo died April 24, 2013, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born May 5, 1920, in Waiakea, she was a sales clerk at the Naniloa Gift Shop and member of Hilo Tenrikyo Church.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts.
She is survived by daughters, Janet (Federico, Sr.) Badua of Papaikou, Doreen (Patrick) Tanihiro of Hilo; stepson, George (Alice) Hayashida of Waimanalo, Oahu; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
